Influenster VoxBox- Total Cleanse

I got my first VoxBox not long ago and was so excited to try it. I received the new Ivory 2-in-1 Hair and Body Wash. Yes, you heard right. This is shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Head to toe clean with one product? I was skeptical. 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioners don't even work well for me, so would this?

Ivory 2-in-1 Hair & Body Wash

First, the positives: convenient, family-sized and smells great. My husband bumped his original score of 2.5/5 to a 3 because of the scent. Not too strong or feminine. I'll explain his original score in a sec.

The convenience and size aspect depends if this product works for you and your family. Unfortunately, 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioners don't work for me.

You see, I have extremely thick hair. I'm talking, every time I get a haircut the stylist just has to comment on it. Even if I go to the same stylist! So, I'll have to continue to use my shampoo and conditioner. As a matter of fact, I used a generous amount, but my scalp didn't feel clean. I think the conditioners prevent it from foaming up like regular shampoo and with my hair, that doesn't cut it. So the conditioner didn't cut it for me either. That's just my hair, though. I truly believe that if a combination shampoo and conditioner works for you, that you'll love this product.

As for my husband, he's a little picky about the after feel of showering. He'd rather feel squeaky clean than moisturized, even if that means being dried out and needing to apply lotion. Hence, his original score of 2.5. I knew the feeling he was talking about. I noticed it too. However, it wasn't as bad as some moisturizing bath washes and soaps. It was a light or just right amount in my opinion. I actually really liked that aspect of this product.

Of course I tried it on my daughter as well. My husband usually keeps his hair shaved, so I needed another test. My daughter has thin hair like my husband, but it's curly and usually needs conditioning to keep tangles away. I can say that it worked a little better for my daughter's hair than mine, but not sure if it was enough conditioner again. Her hair looked great though! So, it cleaned well for her.

So, who's hair will it work on? Well, like I said, if 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner works for you, then I believe this will too. I also think it will work for people with an average amount (^_^) of straight hair. I would definitely check out other reviews to see if it worked for other hair types.

As for me, the convenience will be as an all-in-1 gym wash. If you shower at the gym, you know how it sucks to skip washing your hair when you've been sweating. So, even though it's not perfect for my hair, it beats lugging body wash, shampoo and conditioner.

I hope this was helpful. Let me know if you try it and what you think. Have a wonderful day!

I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
