Just a Couple Manis

Hello, everyone! And welcome to all my new readers. I'm sorry I haven't had anything new up. I was sick last week. I don't have any nail art to show today, but I do have 2 very pretty polishes.

First is China Glaze Secret Peri-winkle topped with KleanColor Aurora.

I love KleanColors but I hate the dry time. I really want all the chunky holo polishes they have, but if I'm just going to be annoyed every time I use them, it's not really worth it to me. (-_-)

Next is the gorgeous JulieG Mermaids Tale. This is a teal foil finish in a blue base. This is one of those polishes that you just need in your collection. I was at the gym staring at my nails in between workouts. People probably thought I was a space case. Haha. Oh well!

Fun Friday: A Little Nail Humor

Hey guys! I just wanted to do something a little different and share my humor with you all. Nail related, of course. I'm the biggest cheese ball you will ever know. So, what better way to get to know me than to share how my mind works, right?

Ok on to the fun! You'll notice the first "entry" from fb, ig & everywhere else I post. But I changed Polish-aholic to Polish Addict because I know there is a Polish-aholic blog and I didn't want there to be any confusion or misunderstandings. I hope you enjoy!

Swatching: an excuse to paint your nails over & over again in one day, or the very next day.

Lemming: a polish you would go to the ends of the earth for. Unlike actual lemmings, we are distracted by all the pretty polishes along the way & sometimes we miss out. Luckily...

Blog Sale: both a happy & sad event. For those looking to squash a lemming, it's great! For those parting with their babies, not so much. But the silver lining is, you make room & earn money for new polish (or whatever you might need)!

Nail Art & Nail Blogging: the most acceptable excuse a significant other will accept for buying so many polishes that are similar in color.

Denial: your next nail art project, because no you don't already have that shade of blue. Nor can you use any of the ones you already have. It must be this shade! Besides, it's called a polish collection for a reason.

No Buy: 1) vulgar language. 2) the creature that polish addicts' nightmares are made of. Usually avoidable with a little self-control. If you encounter the evil No Buy, Keep Calm & Paint Your Nails! (^_~)

Giveaway: 1) a way to gain followers, grow your blog & show appreciation. 2) a reason to buy two of the same polishes or collections. 3) a way to have a certain polish or collection in your possession, even if only briefly, because you didn't have it in the budget to get two.

Naked Nails: a shameful confession

Indie Polish: dirty talk. You wanna make an addict swoon, talk indie to her.

Haul: like a random, pop-up Christmas anytime of the year.
